We ran an automated WCAG 2.2 scan of the homepage of 36 leading websites across 4 industries. Even these well-resourced brands still ship accessibility barriers, here is what we found, and how each sector compares.
The State of US Healthcare Accessibility 2026
HHS moved the Section 504 web deadline citing a rulemaking record with one healthcare submission in it. We scanned 218 providers: 73% have a critical barrier, 150 publish no accessibility statement, and a hypothesis we registered before the scan returned null.
